Frankenweenie is a new stop motion animated feature directed by Tim Burton.  An homage to the Universal Studios horror output of the 1930's combined with Burton's fascination with Hollywood's monster movies. The film was released in October 2012 and was the first black and white feature and first stop-motion film to be released in IMAX and was nominated at this year OSCARs for Best Animated Feature.
